Arts and artistic interventions

The Curators of the Earth aim to inspire society to undertake individual and collective artistic projects (paintings + sculptures), generating sustainable interventions. By reintegrating a wide variety of solid waste, these projects create true rebirths of the Art, Architecture, and Sustainable Environments.

Far beyond modernity and museums, these multiplying interventions are designed to promote the preservation and productivity of nature, humanity, and the environment. We believe that these 3 actions will foster societal reflection and awareness in a faster and more accessible way. In other words, ART reveals and illuminates the space!

Paintings

The paintings, drawings, and sculptures are Sérgio's experiments, combining various techniques while leveraging the durability of waste materials. This approach adds to the rebirth of creation itself—always unpredictable and revealing!

Ceramics

Dinnerware, coffee sets, and bath sets are handcrafted by Márcia, painted in vibrant colors with the most evocative designs integrated into the built architectures. Each house features its own unique tableware collection. Arunachala and Aguazuis showcase these creations to bring joy to their eco-conscious guests!

Residual Facilities

One of the three key pillars of our work is Sustainable Art—fostering creative transformation by elevating all discarded consumer goods to a new level of productive durability, or "RE-CONSUMPTION", certified with a Global Green Seal.

Objects, furniture, and installations are crafted from discarded waste—collected from waters, forests, cities, and rural areas—and brought to the atelier to be reimagined as new "Works Without Waste." Everything is transformed into innovative creative pieces, utilizing castor or soy-based vegetable polyurethane, which can incorporate diverse natural earth tones and other relevant ingredients—resulting in a product unlike anything seen before!

Drawings

Art has no pre-set texts. Its experiences are ever-changing—because they are alive, they are eloquent: they speak of the whole, of the Universe, of reality, dignity, and love. Of light and color. Resonances, harmonies, rhythms, movements...

In these small current drawings, Sérgio Prado works with pointillism, allowing impulsive acts to emerge—a fascination with the unexpected. Figures that are aggressive or timid eyes, endlessly gazing, seemingly blinding external vision to open an inner eye. Orbits that resemble breasts, noses that seem like infinite, spiritual breaths. Like the female sex, they are wounds that never heal, akin to the "more bestiarum" of Saint Augustine. He seeks to give form to the formless.

It makes sense to observe these lines from every angle and pore, choosing which paths to enter, which channels to feel the attraction, the fear, or the complete fearlessness. Over the span of 10 years, countless drawings have emerged—excessive, incongruous objects, seemingly repetitive in their intensities. Perhaps, like life itself, an eternal return, a reinterpretation of the many ways of BEING.

Exhibitions

We have participated in numerous exhibitions over the years at venues such as the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art), Expo India, FIESP, Expo Traço, and many others.
